Itinerary

Day 1Vancouver, Canada Lima, Peru

Depart from Vancouver today and fly to Lima, the capital of Peru, in the evening of the same day. Stayed in the hotel after arriving to rest.

Day 2Lima → Sacred Valley

We will take a plane to Cuzco at an altitude of 3,400 meters. After arriving, we will drive down the mountain to the Sacred Valley at 2,900 meters to visit the famous “Pisac Market”. This market seems to be a replica of our traditional market, the stalls are full of various products, you can taste the giant corn while walking, and feel the authentic “Inca” flavor. The market is full of various handicraft stalls, each piece of work has been carefully crafted, exuding unique characteristics, surrounded by the living atmosphere of “Inca” and “Andean” residents. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3Machu Picchu

Take the Peruvian premium Vistadome train today to the world-famous “Machu Picchu”, one of the most amazing archaeological sites in the world! . We’ll embark on this time journey to this ancient Inca citadel high in the Peruvian Andes. Marvel at the well-preserved remains of temples, palaces, and stone structures that showcase the rich history and wisdom of the Incas. The majestic mountain vistas and verdant valleys surrounding Machu Picchu are breathtaking and bring unforgettable adventure memories to every traveler. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4Cusco

Today we’ll explore Cusco, known as the symbol of the Inca Empire and a UNESCO World Heritage site. According to legend, it was founded by the first Inca emperor, the son of the Sun, in the 12th century. It served as the capital of the Inca Empire until the Spanish conquest in 1535. We’ll visit the Cathedral and the massive stone walls of Sacsayhuaman. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a traditional Inca folk show and dinner. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 5Travel to Puno by Peru Rail Titicaca Train

We board the luxury PeruRail Titicaca Train to Cusco, taking in the beautiful Andean landscapes as we journey in restored 1920s carriages through the Peruvian highlands. During the journey we will reach heights of up to 4,500 meters (14,700 feet) above sea level where the air is much thinner than at lower altitudes. This elevation, however, allows us to enjoy fabulous views out across the Andes. Overnight Puno. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 6Lake Titicaca

Soak in the beauty of the high altitude lake, known as the birthplace of the Inca Empire. The lake dwellers of Lake Titicaca are expert reed craftsmen whose skill has been handed down for centuries. The Uros tribe even continues to build reed islands and boats, which you can visit during your Lake Titicaca tour. Next, have a look at the astonishing pre-Columbian funeral towers of Sillustani along the peninsula in Lake Umayo. These towers were built well before the Inca times and display a mastery of architecture that has been difficult to replicate. In the evening, return to your Puno hotel for the night.


Day 7Copacabana, Bolivia

This tour takes us to explore the Peruvian and Bolivian sides of Lake Titicaca. We visit the village of Chucuito with an Inca sundial on display, and take in the colonial churches and architecture of various small towns along the lake, including Juli, once the Spanish capital of the region. Later, we enjoy a walking tour of Copacabana, a site of religious pilgrimage since Inca times, and visit the beautiful Cathedral of the Indian Virgin with its Moorish structure and colourful decorations. Enjoy sunset view there. Overnight Copacabana. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 8Sun Island → La Paz, Bolivia

Embark on a sacred journey to Moon Island, revered by the Incas, with a private ferry ride from Yampupata. Enjoy a short and easy hike along Warmi Thakhi (Women’s Path) to visit the Iñac Uyu Temple. Then, set sail to Sun Island, the legendary birthplace of the Incas, where you’ll indulge in a delicious Andean lunch at the port of Huacani while taking in breathtaking lake and mountain views. Explore the Pillkokaina ruins, a significant Inca site before returning by ferry to Copacabana and departing by private bus to La Paz. Overnight La Paz. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 9La Paz, Bolivia

Explore the captivating Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley) in the morning, with its otherworldly landscape resembling the moon’s surface. Then, take a cable car ride across the city for panoramic views of La Paz. Enjoy a delicious local lunch before visiting Jaen Street with its rich colonial history. Discover Plaza Murillo, the main square, and the intriguing Witches’ Market with its medicinal herbs and spiritual artifacts. Experience a special dinner at a local restaurant. A day filled with cultural immersion and culinary delights awaits! Overnight La Paz. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 10La Paz → Uyuni

Embark on an unforgettable adventure to the Uyuni Salt Flats! After a short flight to Uyuni, we’ll explore the train cemetery, where rusting train cars hold tales of the past. We’ll then visit Colchani, a village known for salt production, before stepping onto the surreal Uyuni Salt Flats. Marvel at Incahuasi Island with its towering cacti and panoramic views. Witness a breathtaking sunset over the shimmering salt flats before retiring to a unique hotel made of salt bricks. If weather permits, we may even stargaze and spot the Milky Way after dinner. Overnight Uyuni. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Day 11Uyuni

Get ready with your cameras as we embark on an early morning adventure to witness the stunning sunrise at the Uyuni Salt Flats! Afterward, we’ll head south, passing through San Cristobal on our way to the picturesque Alota Valley. Marvel at the Andean fauna amidst the breathtaking rocky landscapes. We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before returning to our hotel in Colchani for some well-deserved rest. Overnight Uyuni. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Day 12Uyuni → Lima

Today, we will bid farewell to the surreal scenery of Uyuni and take a flight back to the charming city of Lima. Back in this vibrant city, we will once again feel the diversity and richness of Peruvian culture. (breakfast, dinner)

Day 13Lima

Since the days of the Spanish Conquistadors, the city of Lima has served as the political, economic and cultural center of Peru, with its unique charm and vibrant atmosphere. Here, you’ll find stunning beaches and historic buildings with a strong Spanish touch. The city has a wealth of sightseeing spots, including the old city of Lima, San Martin Square, Plaza de Armas, the Presidential Palace, seaside attractions, Love Park and Chinatown. In the evening, savor gourmet dining in fine dining restaurants by the sea. After dinner, transfer to the airport by private car for your return flight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 14Vancouver, Canada

The plane returned to Vancouver at noon today. A wonderful and unforgettable 14-day trip to Peru + Bolivia in South America was successfully concluded. Looking forward to meeting you again and embarking on the next exciting adventure together.

Payment

  • A deposit of US$500 must be paid within 3 days of registration.
  • The balance is due before October 20, 2023
  • Tour fees can only be paid in cash, cheque, or bank draft.
  • VISA or MasterCard payment + 3% processing fee

Booking

  • All group members must bring their own valid passports or visas (valid for at least half a year from the return journey)
  • Please provide the same name as the travel document when booking
  • If you want to change in the future, you need to pay a handling fee of $50 and other related fees

Cancellation Policy (Per Person)

Before October 20, 2023 – US $500
Before November 20, 2023 – 40% of the total fee
Before December 10, 2023 – 75% of the total fee
On or after December 10, 2023 – 100% of total fees

Important Information

All group members must bring their own valid passports and visas to enter the various tourist destinations, which are valid for at least half a year from the date of return.

Group members please give us the correct name (must be the same as that on the travel document) when registering. If it needs to be changed in the future, the group members need to pay a handling fee of $50 and other related name change fees. Written notice is required to cancel the trip. A total of US$220 for the tour leader, local tour guide, and driver tips will be collected during the itinerary briefing before departure.

All group members must arrive at the departure point and the meeting points during the journey on time. If you are late and cannot make the trip or miss any itinerary, eHome Travel will not be responsible for any losses, and the fees paid by the group members will not be refunded. All hotels in the itinerary use standard rooms. For special upgrades to suites or sea view rooms (if applicable), please inquire.

Additional Terms

The company uses various types of sightseeing transportation and hotels, such as airplanes, hotels and tour buses, etc. For the safety of guests’ personal lives and luggage, various institutions have established various regulations to be responsible for the guests. In the event of luggage loss, etc., it shall be handled in accordance with the safety regulations established by various organizations and companies, and it has nothing to do with the company.

In case of special circumstances, such as strikes or riots, bad weather or machine failure affecting traffic, sudden full capacity of aircraft or local hotels, traffic jams, flight cancellation or change of time, etc., it is necessary to change or cancel any itinerary. For a tour program and meals, the company may make arrangements according to the prevailing circumstances. The donations caused in this case shall be handled in accordance with the company’s regulations, and the group members shall not object or withdraw without any reason.

The company reserves the right to change or cancel part or all of the itinerary at any time, subject to the final announcement of the company. If the itinerary is cancelled before departure, eHome Travel will refund all the fees paid by the guests (except visa fees). The company is not responsible for canceling any itinerary or departure date.

If the outbound group cannot transit smoothly due to the problem of your documents, it has nothing to do with our company, and the fee will not be refunded. eHome Travel strongly recommends that you purchase appropriate travel insurance (including trip cancellation, delay and medical insurance).
